Harewood again featured regularly in the Nottingham Forest first-team squad in 2000-01 although he was still unable to establish himself as a regular in the starting line-up.
A very persistent player who is good at holding the ball up, he possesses most of the key attributes required of a striker: height, pace and strength on the ball.
However, despite showing considerable determination, he has yet to develop a composure in front of goal.
A favourite of the City Ground fans, he finished the season on a high with two goals in the final game at Tranmere Rovers.
Harewood's contract at West Ham United was extended to June 2010 in August 2005.
He joined Aston Villa in July 2007 with a three-year contract.
In three months on loan at St James' Park, Harewood scored five times to assist in Newcastle's Championship title success.
Harewood joined Blackpool in August 2010 with a one-year contract.
He returned to Nottingham Forest in January 2012 with a four-month contract.
Harewood joined Barnsley in August 2012 with a one-year contract.
He joined Bristol City in August 2013 with a one-year contract that was cancelled in January 2014.
