PositionDefender

Signed by Kevin Keegan as United moved in on promotion to the Premiership in 1993, Mark later joined Swindon Town prior to their only season in the top flight and was the Robins' current longest-serving player at the time of his retirement in January 2002.

Swindon Town's longest-serving player struggled to find his form at times last season but eventually came good again towards the end of the 2000-01 campaign and put in an outstanding display in the home defeat by Reading. He usually played at right back although he has the ability to play in the centre of defence if needed. Mark is a reliable defender who brings the ball confidently out of defence. Unfortunately, he failed to recover from a double hernia operation and announced his retirement from senior football in January 2002.
