Rochdale's big centre half had to wait for his chance at the start of last season, but when it came he grabbed it in spectacular style. He netted in each of his first three appearances and scored six goals in his first eight starts, an amazing record for a defender. Mark is an uncompromising defender who is a strong tackler and good in the air.
Mark was made available for transfer by Boston United in October 2002.
