This tall powerful striker made a handful of appearances for Brentford at the start of the 2000-01 campaign but was then injured when scoring his first league goal for his new club at Notts County.
It was not until January that he regained a place in the Bees' first-team squad and from then onwards he remained as a regular on the subs' bench as cover for the first-choice pair of Lloyd Owusu and Scott Partridge.
He possesses a good work rate but needed to convert more chances to win a regular place in the team.
Mark won a runners-up medal in the LDV Vans Trophy coming on as a substitute in the closing minutes of the final against Port Vale when the Bees went down 2-1.
Mark went on to the transfer list at Griffin Park in March 2002 before joining Millwall a year later with a contract to the end of the 2002-03 term.
His contract with the Lions was soon extended to June 2005.
After a loan spell, Mark joined Brighton & Hove Albion in February 2005 with a contract to June 2006.
He joined Doncaster Rovers in August 2006 in a one-year deal that was extended to June 2008 in June 2007.
Mark joined Gillingham in July 2008 with a three-year contract.
