Convery spent the early part of 2000-01 on loan in DenConvery with Hvidovre and on his return he had a short trial at Reading before signing for Darlington.
He made his debut for the Quakers in the LDV Vans Trophy tie at Port Vale, however he was limited to appearances from the subs' bench until an injury to Convery Ford allowed him to make his first league start on Easter Saturday and he then held his place for the next few games.
Convery is a busy midfield player who covers every blade of grass in his efforts to gain possession for his colleagues and to support the attack.
Convery was made available for transfer by Darlington in November 2004.
