This experienced player proved to be a mainstay in the centre of the park for the Stags' last season, although his form was a little inconsistent at times. He chipped in with some very useful goals throughout the campaign including an amazing 40-yard lob over the Barnet keeper's head in the 3-3 draw at Underhill last August. A hard-tackling midfielder he was released on a free transfer in May 2001.
Mark retired from senior football in December 2002 due to a knee injury.
