With Maik Taylor in superb form in the Fulham goal in 2000-01, Marcus Hahnemann had little chance to impress.
The regular 'keeper for the club's championship-winning reserve team, he stepped up to gain some senior experience in the two legs of the Worthington Cup First Round tie against Northampton Town at the beginning of the season and then featured a couple of times in the closing matches.
Marcus' contract at Reading was extended to June 2007 in January 2006, then to June 2008 in November 2006 and to June 2009 in January 2008.
He joined Wolverhampton Wanderers in July 2009 with a one-year contract that was extended to June 2011 in May 2010.
Marcus joined Everton in September 2011 with a contract to January 2012.
