Omoyinmi arrived at Oxford United hoping to re-establish his career after a somewhat torrid time at West Ham United in the 1999-2000 campaign.
He showed plenty of pace and lots of skill in the early months of the season without scoring but fell out of favour under David Kemp who bought in new players.
However, injuries and unavailability let him back in and the popular striker opened his goal account with two cracking strikes in the 4-3 win over promotion-chasing Rotherham United in March.
