Terry Neill's first major signing for Arsenal, the legendary Supermac brought goals from Newcastle United. An outspoken Londoner, his career was cut short by a knee injury.

He took Tyneside by storm when he arrived from Luton Town in 1971, starting with a never-to-be-forgotten hat-trick on his home debut against Liverpool. Powerfully built and moving with a swagger that demonstrated his total self-belief.
