Luke Summerfield is the son of former Plymouth Argyle player and assistant manager, Kevin Summerfield.
His contract at Argyle was extended to June 2008 in January 2007 and to June 2009 in May 2008.
He joined Cheltenham Town in August 2011 with a one-year contract.
Luke joined York City in July 2014 with a two-year contract.
He joined Grimsby Town in July 2016 with a two-year contract.
