At 15 years and 233 days, Luke Freeman became the youngest player ever to appear in the FA Cup proper breaking the record held by Derby County's Lee Holmes (versus Brentford in 2003) by 44 days.
The youngest player to appear in any round of the FA Cup (including qualifying rounds) is Andy Awford, who played for Oxford City in a Third Qualifying Round tie against Boreham Wood in October 1987 - aged 15 years and 88 days.
Luke also became Gillingham's youngest ever player beating Billy Hughes' record (against Southend United in 1976) by 26 days.
After a loan spell, he joined Stevenage in January 2012 with a contract to June 2014 that was extended to June 2015 in May 2014.
Luke joined Bristol City in July 2014 with a three-year contract.
He joined Queens Park Rangers in January 2017 with a contract to June 2020.
