Liam Delap, who is the son of former Southampton and Stoke City player Rory Delap, also played for Derby County during his youth career.
He was selected on Manchester City's subs bench for the first time on 21 September 2020 in a Premier League game at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
His City contract was extended to June 2026 in August 2021.
Liam joined Ipswich Town in July 2024 with a five-year contract.
He joined Chelsea in June 2025 with a six-year contract.
