Pogliacomi - who previously played for Marconi Stallions, Adelaide City and Wollongong Wolves - represented Australia in the 1995 World Youth Cup.
He had a trial in England with Crystal Palace in 2000.
Pogliacomi signed a new two-year contract at Oldham Athletic in May 2004. He joined Blackpool in August 2005 with a contract to June 2006.
Pogliacomi returned to Oldham Athletic in July 2006 with a one-year contract.
