As a promising Chelsea youngster, Leon joined Queens Park Rangers on loan at the beginning of March 2001 and featured regularly for the First Division club in the closing weeks of 2000-01.
Previously capped by England at Under-16 and Under-17 levels, he stepped up to the Under-18s in 2000-01.
Although a striker at youth level, Leon was often used in a wide midfield role at Loftus Road where he showed good pace and ball control and became popular with the fans in his short stay.
He remained until the end of the season before returning to Stamford Bridge.
Leon joined Brighton & Hove Albion in August 2003 in a two-year deal that was extended to June 2006 in May 2005.
Leon joined Swansea City in January 2006 with a contract to June 2008 but was made available for transfer in October 2006.
He joined Milton Keynes Dons in January 2007 with a contract to June 2008.
Leon joined Wycombe Wanderers in January 2008 with a contract to June 2009.
