Trundle, who also previously played for Burscough and Chorley, joined his former Wrexham boss Brian Flynn at Swansea City in a one-year deal in July 2003.
Trundle's contract was extended up to June 2009 in February 2006.
He joined Bristol City in July 2007 with a three-year contract.
Trundle joined Preston North End in July 2012 with a one-year contract that was cancelled in February 2013.
