Lee Tomlin, who played for Leicester City during his youth career, signed his first pro contract with Rushden and Diamonds in January 2006. It ran to June 2008.
At 16 years 276 days, he had become the Diamonds' youngest-ever player when he made his debut against Wycombe Wanderers in October 2005.
Lee's contract at Peterborough United was extended to June 2015 in March 2011.
After a loan spell, he joined Middlesbrough in February 2014 with a contract to June 2017.
Lee joined AFC Bournemouth in August 2015 with a three-year contract.
After a loan spell, he joined Bristol City in July 2016 with a three-year contract.
Lee joined Cardiff City in July 2017 with a three-year contract.
