A reserve full-back who rarely got a chance of first-team action, Lee joined Wrexham on a full season's loan from Manchester United in August 2000 and was a near-ever-present in the Robins' line-up during 2000-01.
He impressed with a series of consistent displays at right back and also proved to be more than useful when attacking down the flank.
Previously capped by England at Under-18 level, he stepped up to make his debut for the Under-21s in their 2-2 draw in Finland in October 2000.
Lee joined Burnley on a two-year contract in June 2003 before returning to Wrexham in July 2005 in a one-year deal.
