Collins linked up once again with his old boss Steve McMahon and apart from an early-season injury he was a regular in the Blackpool line-up in 2000-01. He is a hard-working battling player who performed both in a central and wide right-sided midfield role for the Tangerines during the 2000-01 campaign.
Collins's contract with Blackpool was cancelled by mutual consent in August 2003.
