Canoville's Arsenal career stretched to a 16 minute sub appearance against Ipswich Town in the Worthington Cup.
A former England Under-16 international, Canoville attended the FA School of Excellence at Lilleshall before signing for Arsenal.
Having developed in the Gunners' Under-19 and reserve teams, he stepped up to make his senior debut in the Worthington Cup Third Round defeat by Ipswich Town.
Early in the New Year, he joined Northampton Town on loan where he made a handful of first-team appearances at right back before returning to Highbury where he featured again in the second string.
A versatile player, he is most comfortable playing either in the heart of the defence or in a central midfield role.
Canoville signed a new two-year contract with Torquay United in April 2003.
He then joined Boston United in July 2005 in a two-year deal.
