Rogers began the 2000-01 campaign as first-choice 'keeper for Wrexham but he was replaced by the more experienced Kevin Dearden in mid-September and was unable to win back his position in the team.
He played a couple of times for Conference club Rushden & Diamonds during a loan period in December 2000 before returning to the Racecourse Ground to compete with Dearden, David Walsh and Paul Whitfield for a place in the Robins' line-up.
He is a promising young goalkeeper.
Rogers had his transfer request accepted in January 2003.
