Having appeared for Molde in their UEFA Cup ties against Rayo Vallecano last September, Knut Anders joined Grimsby Town in November for a three-month loan period that coincided with the Norwegian close season. A vastly experienced player he became an instant favourite of the Blundell Park faithful after some fine performances but he returned home in February. He is a powerful left-sided defender who is very strong in the challenge.
