Full name is: Jose Kleberson Pereira.
Kleberson forced himself on to the fringes of the national squad in 2001 as he was a key figure in his club's first-ever Brazilian title success.
He was chosen by Luiz Felipe Scolari for the first friendly of 2002, and responded with a goal scoring debut against Bolivia.
His new coach noted that, despite his relative inexperience, he performed with the authority of a veteran.
Mostly known as a defensive midfielder, becoming more involved as the tournament progressed, he played in the World Cup Final victory against Germany.
The Brazilian World Cup winner struggled to make an impact at United, as he found it difficult to make the transition to Premier League football.
