Ki-Jana Hoever played for AZ Alkmaar and Ajax during his youth career.
At 16 years and 354 days, he became the youngest-ever player to appear for Liverpool in the FA Cup when he made his debut at Wolverhampton Wanderers on 7 January 2019.
The previous club record holder was Ben Woodburn who was aged 17 years and 85 days when he played against Plymouth Argyle on 8 January 2017.
Ki-Jana became only the third 16 year-old to play for the Reds in a senior competition; also Jerome Sinclair (16 years and six days at West Bromwich Albion in the League Cup on 26 September 2012) and Jack Robinson (16 years and 250 days at Hull City in the Premier League on 9 May 2010).
He joined Wolverhampton Wanderers in September 2020 with a five-year contract.
