Pressman's transfer request was accepted by Sheffield Wednesday boss Chris Turner in January 2004.
He joined Leeds United in February 2005 on non-contract terms before moving on to Coventry City a month later on the same basis.
Pressman joined Mansfield Town in July 2005 in a one-year deal.
While the club's goalkeeping coach, at the age of 40, Pressman signed for Scunthorpe United on non-contract terms to provide cover.
