This tough right back was appointed as Wolverhampton Wanderers' club captain in 2000-01 but struggled to maintain consistent form although he had some high points, notably when he netted the winner against Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough with a lovely right-footed curling free-kick.
A rugged defender who enjoys pushing down the flank, he held the responsibility for taking penalties at Molineux for a while. Kevin was again a regular for Australia during the campaign netting a remarkable four-goal tally (three were spot-kicks) in the 22-0 victory over Tonga in a World Cup qualifier and also featuring in the end-of-season Confederations Cup tournament.
Kevin joined Millwall in August 2003 in a two-year deal.
