This combative midfield player struggled to win a regular first-team place for York City last season before he tore a medial knee ligament at Barnet in January. The injury put him on the long-term sick list and his career effectively came to a close in March when he was released on medical grounds. Kevin scored three crucial goals for the Minstermen netting two in the 3-2 victory over Shrewsbury and also in the 2-1 success over Torquay.

After moving on to Altrincham, Kevin joined Mossley in July 2002.
