Having recovered from a serious achilles tendon injury, Kevin began last season without a club. He spent time training with his old boss Barry Fry at Peterborough and occasionally turned out for North West Counties League outfit Castleton Gabriels before joining Exeter City on non-contract forms last November. He scored once for the Grecians in seven league appearances before joining Hull City at the end of the year and quickly became a huge favourite of the Tigers fans after netting four times in a spell of five games. A giant who upsets opposition defences with his physical presence he was a key figure in the Boothferry Park club's rise up the table to the play-offs. He was released at the end of the season.
