Signed by Leicester City from non-league Altrincham in February 2001, this attacking midfielder had previously had trials with Everton, Wigan Athletic and Manchester City before Peter Taylor decided to invest in his potential for the future.
Kevin Ellison was thrust into the squad for the fixture at Manchester United in March after Arnie Gunnlaugsson was taken ill, and came on for the last five minutes to make his debut in senior football.
Kevin joined Chester City in August 2004 with a two-year contract before rejoining Peter Taylor at Hull City in January 2005 with a contract to June 2007.
Kevin joined Tranmere Rovers in June 2006 with a two-year contract.
He returned to Chester City in June 2007 with a three-year contract that was cancelled in May 2009.
Kevin joined Rotherham United in May 2009 with a two-year contract.
He joined Morecambe in July 2011 with a one-year contract that was extended to June 2013 in January 2012, to June 2014 in March 2013, to June 2015 in December 2013, to June 2016 in May 2015, to June 2017 in March 2016 and to June 2018 in June 2017.
