In a season that saw Stockport County sell four key players, it was perhaps Kevin's departure to First Division rivals Wimbledon that hit the Edgeley Park faithful hardest.
Five goals and many more assists from 34 appearances represented a decent return from the midfield man who was equally as happy rolling up his sleeves and defending at the other end of the field.
County's loss was definitely the Dons' gain when Kevin moved on for a substantial fee shortly before the transfer deadline.
He became an instant hit with the club's fans and scored in consecutive home matches towards the end of the season against Nottingham Forest and Crewe.
A hard-working tricky winger who can operate down both flanks, he also occasionally featured in a more central role.
Kevin was made available for transfer by Wolverhampton Wanderers in May 2005, and rejoined his former boss Dave Jones at Cardiff City with a three-year contract.
Kevin was made available for transfer by the Bluebirds in May 2007.
He joined Chesterfield in February 2008 with a contract to June 2008.
