Braniff is another of the talented youngsters on Millwall's books. He made his senior debut against Brighton & Hove Albion in the Worthington Cup, scoring a wonderful goal when he curled the ball in from the edge of the box to give the Lions a 2-1 victory.
A quick and skilful striker, he was unable to win a regular place in the line-up due to the form of the club's front men.
Braniff was capped by Northern Ireland at Under-18 level during the season, appearing in the UEFA tournament qualifying ties against Portugal and Norway.
In February 2004, he extended his Millwall contract up to June 2007.
