England and New Zealand international Ken Armstrong was a hard-tackling defender and Chelsea regular for a decade.

He was used as an emergency forward in 1947-48 and ended up top scorer with 13 goals.

With Chelsea he was 1st Division Champion in 1955.

After his death in 1984 his ashes were returned to England from New Zealand and scattered over the Stamford Bridge pitch.
