Iranian International. Made his debut in 1993. Came to Europe for the 1997-98 season to play for unfashionable German side Arminia Bielefeld. He played mainly as sub but enjoyed scoring in three games. Arminia were relegated and he stayed and helped them win promotion that season. Stayed in Germany for another half a season before returning to Iran to play for Pirouzi. After a short spell he moved on to Al Nasr and then on to Charlton Athletic. He once scored 7 goals in a 1998 World Cup qualifying match, his movement and speed on the ball has produced many goals for both him and his team mates for Iran (Aziz and Daei). Tall and elegant, he is a valuable member of the Iranian National team.
