Full name is: Julian Schantz Johnsson
Before joining Sogndal in Norway, Julian Johnsson played for KI Klaksvik, HB Torshavn and B36 Torshavn in the Faroes, Velje (Denmark) and Kongsvinger (Norway). Capped more than 30 times - more recently as captain - it is believed that Julian became the first Faroe Islands international to play in the English Football League when he joined Hull City. Although born in Denmark, he qualifies for the Islands through parentage.
Julian soon impressed in England with his box-to-box energy but, entirely due to personal reasons, returned to Scandanavia after a year with the Tigers.
