Although not a prolific goal-scorer, Julian proved a valuable signing for Cheltenham Town in 2000-01.
He suffered from the lack of a regular partner and occasionally played as a lone forward but always caused problems for defenders with his height and strength on the ball.
He is a hard working striker who is a very effective target man, adept at holding the ball up and laying it off for his colleagues.
Julian joined Oxford United in June 2003 on a two-year deal but his contract was cancelled in October 2004.
He returned to Cheltenham Town in July 2009 on non-contract terms before agreeing a deal until December 2009 which was further extended to June 2010 in February 2010.
