Having progressed through the ranks at Luton Town, Jude stepped up to make his Football League debut at Swansea City in September 2000 only to have the misfortune to receive a red card for a handball offence.
He continued to impress in reserve matches but it was not until new boss Joe Kinnear arrived that he was selected more often for the first team.
A young defender with a powerful long throw, he is strong in the tackle and his surging runs down the wing put opposing defences under pressure.
Jude joined Oxford United in August 2005 on non-contract terms.
He then joined Lincoln City in January 2006 with a contract to the end of the season.
Jude joined Peterborough United in July 2006 with a one-year contract.
He joined Milton Keynes Dons in January 2006 with a contract to June 2008.
Jude's Dons' contract was extended to June 2011 in January 2009.
