Having featured in just a handful of games for Aberdeen in the 1999-2000 campaign Juan joined Swindon Town in the close season. However he featured on only a handful of occasions, and following his appearance at Walsall on New Year's Day he was restricted to reserve-team football and a couple of outings from the subs' bench in the LDV Vans Trophy. He is a right wing back who is comfortable and composed on the ball when pushing forward.
Juan's contract at Swindon Town was cancelled in January 2003.
