Jon Bass

Bass missed the first part of 2000-01 at Birmingham City after suffering a blood clot in his shoulder but received few first-team opportunities on his return to fitness and was placed on the transfer list.

A very disciplined right back who reads the game well, his only senior game came when he came on from the subs' bench for the final five minutes of the game at Sheffield Wednesday in March.

Bass was released by the Blues in the summer.

Following his succesful switch to Hartlepool United, Bass signed a new one-year contract at the Victoria Ground in May 2003 but it was cancelled by mutual consent in February 2004.

After spells in Malaysia and Australia, Bass joined Bristol Rovers in March 2005 on a short-term contract that was extended to June 2006 in December 2005.
