John Ruddy signed a three-year professional contract with Cambridge United in September 2004.
He joined Everton in May 2005 with a contract to June 2009.
John joined Norwich City in July 2010 with a three-year contract that was extended to June 2016 in June 2012 and to June 2017 in October 2013.
He joined Wolverhampton Wanderers in July 2017 with a two-year contract.
His Wolves contract was extended to June 2021 in May 2020 and to June 2022 in June 2021.
John joined Newcastle United in July 2024 with a one-year contract.
