Robinson holds the record for international appearances by a Charlton Athletic player and was once again a regular in the Wales team, adding a further four caps during the 2000-01 season.

However, he was not a regular in the Addicks' line-up and after losing his place in mid-November he only started a handful of games during the remainder of the campaign.

Robinson is a tricky right-footed winger who can play on either flank or as a right wing back. He loves to take on players and delivers an accurate cross with either foot.

He netted two goals in 2000-01, scoring in the opening day victory against Manchester City and contributing a late equaliser when coming on as a substitute in the home game against Manchester United.

Robinson announced his retirement in November 2004.
