Joe Martin is the son of former West Ham United and England defender Alvin Martin and brother of Liverpool keeper David Martin.
After a loan spell, he joined Blackpool in July 2008 with a two-year contract.
Joe joined Gillingham in December 2010 on a non-contract basis.
His Gills contract was extended to June 2013 in May 2011 and then to June 2015.
He joined Millwall in July 2015 with a one-year contract.
