Dolan was signed by Millwall from Chelsea juniors and progressed into through to the senior team.
He made his debut in February 1999 in an Auto Windshield tie against Gillingham and played in the Final at Wembley.
He played twenty times in the 2000-01 season but a broken leg suffered in February 2001 against Bristol Rovers ruled him out for the rest of the season.
He did not make an appearance in 2001-02 season.
Dolan had his contract at Millwall extended to June 2005 in January 2004.
He then joined Leyton Orient with a one-year contract.
He has also played for Carshalton, Croyden Athletic, Cray Wanderers, Kingstonian, Staines Town and Havant & Waterlooville.
