With Arsenal, 1st Division Champion 1934.

Jimmy Dunne has been described as the most expensive reserve player of the time after he cost Arsenal £8,250 in September 1933.

Although a brilliant striker, he lost his place to Ted Drake.

For Sheffield United, Jimmy scored 30 or more goals in the First Division in three consecutive seasons between 1930 and 1933, a feat only subsequently matched by Alan Shearer for Blackburn Rovers between 1993 and 1996.

During his spell at Bramall Lane, he established a top division record of scoring in 12 consecutive games between 24 October 1931 and 1 January 1932, a run that totalled 18 goals.
