Jermaine Pennant became Arsenal's youngest ever player (16 years, 319 days) when he came on as a substitute in their Worthington Cup tie at Middlesbrough in November 1999.

He is also Notts County's youngest ever player (15 years, 342 days) in all competitions.

Having joined Arsenal as a trainee in January 1999 for a fee of £1.5million, he signed pro forms at Highbury on 16 March 2000.

After a loan spell, Jermaine joined Birmingham City in April 2005 with a contract to June 2008.

He made history as the first professional footballer to play with an electronic tag around his ankle.

Jermaine joined Liverpool in July 2006 with a three-year contract.

After a loan spell, he joined Stoke City in January 2011 with a contract to June 2013 that was then extended to January 2014.

Jermaine joined Wigan Athletic in February 2015 with a contract to June 2015.

He joined Bury in January 2017 with a contract to June 2017.
