Lovett made his debut for Brentford at Port Vale in October 2000 but it was not until December that he won a regular place in the first-team squad.
He is a right wing back who crosses the ball well and possesses a useful long throw.
He scored his first goal for the Bees in the LDV Vans Trophy tie at Oxford United.
Lovett has also played for Tooting & Mitcham United.
