Place of birthSydney
NationalityAustralian
Weight82 kg
Height1.85 m
PositionDefender/Midfielder

This tough-tackling Australian international, with 32 caps to his name, featured at left back, centre half and in midfield for Albion during the 2000-01 season. His performances were both vigorous and competitive and with Neil Clement behind him he found more time to venture forward in an attempt to create goal-scoring opportunities for his colleagues. Sidelined for a while with a hamstring problem, his competitive approach was admired by all and he was key member of the Baggies' squad. After he was released in the summer, Jason had a brief spell at Stockport County before joining Hull City. Prior to his move to Europe, Jason - whose father, Cliff, was also a Aussie international - played in Australia for Blacktown City and APIA Leichardt.

Jason joined Macclesfield Town in March 2004 on non-contract terms.
