After a loan spell, he joined Blackburn Rovers in January 2015 with a contract to June 2018.
Jason joined Brighton and Hove Albion in June 2018 with a three-year contract that was extended to June 2025 in January 2023, to June 2026 in November 2023 and to June 2027 in October 2025.
