Like fellow squad member, Rene Henriksen, Jan has benefited from Panathinaikos' progress in the European Champions League this season. Following five seasons with AB Copenhagen, he moved to the Greek club in favour of an offer from Wolfsburg in Germany. An all-action player, he is usually seen on the right side of midfield. He made all of his four appearances in the qualifying campaign when coming off the subs bench.
