Waite's mother was born in Thailand.
He became the second youngest player ever to appear in a full international when he made his debut for the Thai national side aged just 15 years and 354 days when he came on as a second-half substitute in a game against Singapore in Bangkok.
Waite joined Doncaster Rovers in September 2008 on a non-contract basis.
