Jamie Vincent had a frustrating time at Huddersfield Town in 2000-01.

He began the season wearing a cast on a wrist that had been broken in a freak domestic accident and then missed some time with an ankle injury.

A return against Barnsley at the McAlpine Stadium, marked his 50th appearance for the club, before another injury put him on the sidelines yet again.

Jamie returned for the 1-1 draw against Nottingham Forest but in February he was sold on to Portsmouth for a substantial fee.

Steve Claridge's only signing during his time as caretaker-manager at Pompey, he more than adequately filled the gap left by the injured Justin Edinburgh on the left-hand side of the defence.

Jamie is a solid left back who defends strongly and is always willing to support the attack with his accurate crossing and passes.

Jamie joined Yeovil Town in January 2006 with a contract to the end of the season.

He joined Swindon Town in July 2006 in a one-year deal that was extended to June 2008 in May 2007.

Jamie joined Walsall in July 2009 with a one-year contract.

He joined Aldershot Town in July 2010 with a two-year contract that was cancelled in March 2011.
