Jamie Ashdown began the 2000-01 campaign as third-choice keeper for Reading but stepped up to make his Football League debut when he replaced Phil Whitehead for the final 25 minutes of the home game against Oldham Athletic in September.
The following month he went out on loan to Bishop's Stortford to gain more experience of first-team football but then broke a finger and, on recovering fitness, he had another loan spell at Gravesend & Northfleet.
Jamie's contract at Portsmouth was extended to June 2010 in January 2007 and to June 2012 in August 2010.
He joined Leeds United in July 2012 with a one-year contract.
Jamie joined Crawley Town in August 2014 with a contract to December 2014.
He joined Oxford United in February 2015 with a contract to June 2015.
